Summer Days in Brâncoveni Borough

August starts properly at Brâncoveni Borough. Water sports, theater for children and grownups, good music, and dance fit are the goodies prepared for you in the Mogoșoaia Park on the 1st and 2nd of August 2015.

Water sports are available all-day-long while the cultural events are scheduled in the evening, in the shadow of the main stage. On Saturday, starting with 6.00 p.m., you can enjoy canzonets with Harmony Duet; 7.30 p.m. a theater play will follow: “Lullaby. A Story About Maria Tanase“, with Mirela Pană. Born out of ambition to stage a real show about Maria Tanase, the play presents more the human side and less the diva, in a confession-concert during which you will love the women and her music. The show is directed by Carmen Lidia Vidu. It is still summer and until 8.30 p.m., the sun will try to melt you, but one hour of Dance Fit with George Agache might cheer you up.

On Sunday, at 6.00 p.m., children are invited to a theater show “The Little Frog named Red Galoshes“. The play was written in 2014, on the Earth Day, as a manifesto for animals threatened by the industry and tells the story of three friends that went to look for a new home. The evening ends with jazz, at 19:00.
