French Film Week

From January 22 to 28 January 2016, Eforie hall of the Romanian Cinematheque hosts the French Film Week. Free admission and Parisian atmosphere!

The seven films selected for this edition are representative for the French cinematic history. Over the years, these films have been restored and carefully preserved. French Film Week brings to the audience films made in the ’20s – ’30s, as well as production of the ’60s – ’70s. Here is the full schedule of the event:

  • Friday, January 22, 2016 – 7.00 p.m.: The Miracle of the Wolves / Le miracle des loups (1924)
  • Saturday, January 23, 2016 – 7.00 p.m.: Money / L’argent (1929)
  • Sunday, January 24, 2016 –7.00 p.m.: Crisis is over / La crise est finie (1934)
  • Monday, January 25, 2016 – 7.00 p.m.: Red inn / L’auberge rouge (1951)
  • Tuesday, January 26, 2016 – 7.00 p.m.: Codin / Codine (1963)
  • Wednesday, January 27, 2016 – 7.00 p.m.: Army of Shadows / L’armée des ombres (1969)
  • Thursday, January 28, 2016 – 7.00 p.m.:  Blues under the skin / Le blues entre les dents (1973)
